  2. Lessee agrees to use the boat only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.

  3. The boat may only be operated in approved waterways and may not be used in unsafe weather conditions.

  4. Lessee is responsible for providing their own safety gear and personal flotation devices as required by law.

3. LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION

Lessee agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Alaska Wild Rentals LLC, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, or injuries—including but not limited to bodily injury, death, property damage, legal fees, or other liabilities—arising directly or indirectly from the rental or use of the boat.

Lessee acknowledges that boating involves inherent risks such as changing weather conditions, water hazards, tides, strong currents, submerged objects, and mechanical failures, and assumes full responsibility for their own safety.

Lessee agrees that they are solely responsible for assessing water conditions and determining if it is safe to operate the boat.

Lessee agrees not to operate the boat while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substances that may impair judgment.

Lessee acknowledges that Alaska Wild Rentals does not provide emergency rescue services and that any costs associated with search and rescue efforts resulting from Lessee's negligence shall be the responsibility of the Lessee.

Lessee is responsible for having safety gear on board and adhering to local laws regarding proper safety equipment.

4. DAMAGE, LOSS, AND REPAIRS

Lessee is fully responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to the boat or any provided equipment during the rental period.

The security deposit may be partially or fully withheld to cover damages.

If damage exceeds the security deposit, Lessee agrees to pay all additional repair costs.

Lessee must return the boat in clean and working condition. Failure to do so may result in additional cleaning fees.

Late returns will be charged the full daily rental rate for each day (or portion of a day) the equipment is late.

Lessor reserves the right to terminate this agreement immediately and repossess the boat if Lessee violates any terms.

No refunds will be given if termination occurs due to Lessee’s negligence or misconduct.

8. SAFE OPERATION REQUIREMENTS

Lessee agrees to operate the boat safely and responsibly at all times.

Reckless behavior—including but not limited to racing, jumping, performing tricks, or stunt driving—is strictly prohibited.

Operating under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any impairing substances is prohibited and will result in immediate termination of the rental without refund and a permanent ban from Alaska Wild Rentals services.
